Founder
Manjari Mukherjee
Manjari has over a decade of post-qualification experience spanning private practice and in-house roles. She currently leads Barakah Advisors providing skilled legal advisory across the board. She has had front seat in advising stakeholders in multi national companies for their legal, compliance, litigation, risk mitigation and employment law functions for various companies across the UAE, India, and Singapore.
Her career reflects a unique combination of legal acumen and operational insight. Manjari has successfully built in-house legal teams from the ground up, implemented group-wide governance and compliance frameworks, and reduced reliance on external counsel through cost-effective internal systems. Her experience includes complex regulatory compliance across UAE free zones (DMCC, JAFZA, RAKEZ, ADGM), the mainland, and international jurisdictions such as BVI and Singapore. She has led ESG reporting, AML/KYC implementation, and economic substance compliance for diversified conglomerates across sectors.
In parallel, Manjari is deeply engaged in strategic HR leadership, having designed and implemented group-wide HR policies, managed organisational restructuring, and led initiatives on DEI, succession planning, and employee engagement. Her dual role has positioned her as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, managing change across both legal and operational domains.
