Manjari has over a decade of post-qualification experience spanning private practice and in-house roles. She currently leads the legal, compliance, and human resources functions for Panbulk Shipping DMCC, a multi-jurisdictional group with over 30 companies operating across the UAE, India, and Singapore.

Her career reflects a unique combination of legal acumen and operational insight. Manjari has successfully built in-house legal teams from the ground up, implemented group-wide governance and compliance frameworks, and reduced reliance on external counsel through cost-effective internal systems. Her experience includes complex regulatory compliance across UAE free zones (DMCC, JAFZA, RAKEZ, ADGM), the mainland, and international jurisdictions such as BVI and Singapore. She has led ESG reporting, AML/KYC implementation, and economic substance compliance for diversified conglomerates across sectors.

In parallel, Manjari is deeply engaged in strategic HR leadership—having designed and implemented group-wide HR policies, managed organisational restructuring, and led initiatives on DEI, succession planning, and employee engagement. Her dual role has positioned her as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, managing change across both legal and operational domains.
Prior to her current role, Manjari served as Manager – Legal for WebEngage, where she oversaw legal operations in India and the MENA region. She played a critical role in IP portfolio development, data privacy enforcement, contract standardisation, and litigation strategy. Earlier in her career, she rose through the ranks at Royzz & Co., eventually leading the firm’s IP practice. She has advised clients across diverse industries and jurisdictions on brand protection, infringement actions, and IP commercialisation.

Recognised as a Rising Star by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific and WIPR, Manjari is also an active contributor to legal thought leadership—having conducted trainings with CIPAM, lectured at Narsee Monjee, and represented firms at INTA and other international IP forums.
